Wood-Fire Roasted Coffee owner, Tim Curry, is truly an artisan in the roasting world. Since 2001, he has poured his heart and soul into every cup brewed from his carefully selected and roasted beans.

After 27 years in the restaurant business, Tim decided to pursue his passion for the brewed beverage and taught himself the art of roasting beans, finding that the coffee he created in his kitchen was the best he’d ever tasted. He furthered his skill set and knowledge, eventually purchasing a traditional Italian wood-fire roaster, and opening Wood-Fire Roasted Coffee Company.

One of only a handful of coffee bean roasters in the country developing flavor profiles over a wood fire, Tim’s self-learned process has revived and celebrated the old-world technique while adding his own artistry and skill. With an extensive knowledge of wine, his roasts evoke flavor profiles that parallel the complexities of fine wines. Wood-Fire has received some of the highest ratings ever given by Coffee Review in a blind tasting, a 97. As well, Wood-Fire Roasted coffee has been featured in Saveur Magazine, the Reno Gazette-Journal, and more.
