Our Story

Before coffee became an industry, it was a craft—built on fire, patience, and instinct.

We started with a simple idea: bring coffee back to its roots.

Long before stainless steel machines and digital controls, coffee was roasted over open flame. It was unpredictable. Hands-on. Alive. The roaster didn’t just push a button—they worked with the fire, listened to the crack of the beans, and relied on experience to bring out the best in every batch.

That’s the tradition we’ve chosen to carry forward.

At Wood Fire Roasted, we roast our coffee over real wood fires, using carefully selected hardwoods to create a roasting environment that modern methods can’t replicate. The process is slower, more demanding, and far less forgiving—but that’s exactly the point.

Fire changes everything.

It adds depth. It builds character. It creates a texture and warmth in the cup that you don’t get from conventional roasting. Every batch has subtle variations, shaped by flame, airflow, and timing—making each roast feel crafted, not manufactured.

This isn’t about nostalgia for the sake of it. It’s about flavor, experience, and doing things the right way—even when it’s harder.

We believe great coffee should feel connected—to the land, to the process, and to the moment you drink it. Wood fire roasting brings that connection back.

It’s not the easiest way to roast coffee.

But it might be the most honest.
