Coffee of the Month Club
Each month our Coffee Club members receive a special coffee that exemplifies the coffee's origin and our roast style. This is an excellent way to sample a diverse selection of the world's finest coffees without breaking the bank — and lock in your price (which includes shipping).

December: Costa Rica La Union Yellow Honey
The Beneficio Cerro Alto micro-mill is located in Costa Rica’s Central Valley region. The same family has farmed the land for four generations and is currently managed by wife and husband Sylvia Vindas and Fernando Elias. Honey-processed coffees are first run through a mechanical demucilager to remove some of the fruit. This is then dried with that thin layer of fruit intact.
Cupping Notes:
- Dry Grounds: Soft, nutty, sweet, and caramel.
- Wet Grounds: Nutty with fruity cocoa tones.
- In the Cup: Sweet caramel, nuts, and cherry.
- Mouthfeel: Silky, sweet, round.
- Finish: Sweetly lingering.
- Varietals: Caturra, Catuai.
